NOT READING THESE IS NO EXCUSE.  IF YOU BREAK THE RULES, THERE WILL BE NO EXCUSES.  SO READ THESE SO YOU KNOW!

GENERAL RULES

OK, apparently, some people just aren't getting the message.  I don't care if you don't serve, serve files, are an operator here, or an op somewhere else, YOU DO NOT SPAM ANY OUTSIDE CHANNEL/FORUM INFORMATION (INCLUDING WEBSITES) IN DIGILEGACY.  You will be treated the same as any other spammer and banned.  There will be no more warnings now.

1. DO NOT ASK TO BE AN OP!  You will be banned immediately, no questions asked!!  The answer is 'No'.

    1a.  I'm sick and tired of hearing, "Well, how come this person is an op?" and "Why can't I be an OP?".  It's really getting old.  THERE WILL BE NO NEW OPS.  SO JUST STOP ASKING, AND STOP COMPLAINING.  IT IS NOT YOUR DECISION TO MAKE.

2. Requesting for FILES is ALLOWED, just don't be annoying about it.  If no one answers, it's either because nobody is around, or no one has it.

3. Bots are FORBIDDEN. Clones will be allowed if you are serving for 7 days.  Any illegal clones will be told to be turned off, then the IP will be banned.

4. Due to recent spam activity, spammers will be immediately banned, with the exception of accidental cases (such as music files), which will be warned first, then if it is repeated and deemed intentional, will be banned.

SPAM includes:

    - PM'ing someone to come to another channel without a previous request.
    - MASS-INVITING.

    - PORN (Any sites leading to any form of pornography will not be tolerated and will result in an instant ban.)
    - Inviting for the sole purpose of improving another channel.
        -IE: "Hey do you want to come to <Channel Name>?

5. @Find can be used! @Find will only work if the people serving have it enabled. It does not mean it will work for everybody.

6. You need to ask for auto-voice.  You will be asked how long you've been serving files.  If Kouichi sees you have served long enough, you'll be added to the auto-voice list.

7. LEAVE YOUR PERSONAL BELIEFS OUTSIDE THE CHANNEL. THIS INCLUDES ALL RELIGIOUS BELIEFS.  ANY DISCUSSION OF THE LIKE WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE PERMA-BAN! 

8. INSULTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!  If someone goes to an Op with a complaint that you are harassing/insulting them, and it is seen as a bad enough offense, you will be kicked.  Insults include such as follows:

        - Insulting remarks, racist terms, personal 'lifestyle' insults and everything included, and religion/beliefs in some cases.

8a. If you have an issue, leave Kouichi a PM and he will answer you when he can. He can not solve a problem you have, IF YOU DON'T TELL HIM ABOUT IT! :P

9. Please NO scripts.  I'm tired of people trying to give me excuses on what scripts should be allowed and what aren't.  So I'll just say it here.

        NO POLLS, NO ACTION SCRIPTS, Scripts that can be activated by another user (IE:  !kickme, etc...), NO GAME SCRIPTS, AND EVERYTHING THAT FALLS UNDER THOSE CATEGORIES.  If you use any of these and can make it into a NOTICE script, the kind where only the one who used it can see, that MAY be considered acceptable.

9a. The only script(s) I want to see are the following.

        Winamp Scanner, WBs, some scripts made by SysReset/mIRC/UPP

10. Do not impersonate an Ops nick. It wont do you any good anyway. Just don’t do it please.

11. If you have leeched for a long time, please contribute to the channel by serving files. (PS: Having Dial-up is no excuse) :)  A new page will be available to help you set up a file server.

12. NO SEXUAL CONVERSATION OF ANY NATURE.  I'm tired of dealing with this garbage, especially involving sexual orientation and preferences, and am seriously tired of the complaints.  Anybody caught carrying on this kind of conversation will be warned to stop, and if it continues, banned.
